Product User License

The Products are the property of Follett School Solutions, Inc. and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law. Follett School Solutions, Inc. grants you a limited license to access and make use of the Products for the sole purpose of creating title lists to send as quotation requests or orders to Follett School Solutions, Inc. You may not download (other than page caching) or modify the content of the Products or any portion of the Products, except with express written consent of Follett School Solutions, Inc. You may not use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools in connection with the Products or this Site. Privacy Notice

Follett School Solutions, Inc. stores your data on its secure server and does not use or disclose your data except to provide you with the services related to this Site and the Products.

Facebook Privacy Policy

Follett collects personally identifiable information from you solely to operate the Application as described in the “How We Use Your Information” section below. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to advertisers or spammers. We will only share the information we collect from you as described in the section below entitled “How We Share Your Information.”

We at FOLLETT SCHOOL SOLUTIONS, INC. (“Follett”) respect your privacy and value the relationship we have with you. This Privacy Policy is designed to show you what information about you Follett collects through the Follett application on Facebook (the “Application”), and how Follett uses and shares that information. Your use of Facebook in general and your relationship with Facebook are subject to Facebook”s own Privacy Policy and Facebook”s other terms and policies, which Follett does not control and Follett is not responsible for Facebook’s processing of your information.

Information We Collect About You

Follett may collect two types of personal information (collectively “Information”) with this Application:

(i) Personal information and content that was provided by you or other users to Facebook or was associated by Facebook with a particular user (“Facebook Information”). When you use the Application, Follett may collect any Facebook Information you have made visible to “Everyone” on Facebook as well as the information Facebook designates as your publicly available information. This includes your:

  • name
  • profile picture
  • gender
  • current city
  • networks
  • friend list
  • pages

Even if you have not explicitly allowed us access to any of your Facebook Information, Follett may collect information about you when your friends on Facebook allow access to and use the Application, subject to your Facebook settings. Follett may also send you emails and post on your Facebook Wall in connection with your use of the Service.

(ii) In addition to the Facebook Information, Follett may collect information and content Follett receives directly from you such as through a form completed by you in this Application or other communications you direct to Follett. Any such information will be treated in the same manner as Facebook Information.

How Follett Uses Your Information

Follett will only use your Information for the following purposes:

  • to enable you to use the Application
  • to post on your Wall or to send you emails regarding your use of the Application
  • to provide technical support and to respond to your inquiries
  • to communicate about new features or promotions of the Application
  • to prevent fraud or potentially illegal activities and to enforce our Terms of Use
  • to solicit your feedback to improve the Application and your experience using it
  • to administer and improve the Application

Follett will not sell your personally identifiable Information to advertisers or spammers.

How Follett Shares Your Information

Follett may share your information in the following cases:

  • With Affiliates and Third-Party Service Providers: Follett may disclose your Information to our affiliates and third-party service providers to the extent permitted by Facebook. Except as otherwise set forth in this section, Follett will only share your Information with any such parties in connection with the administration of the Service or for the purpose of improving your experience with the Service. Third party service providers are not authorized by Follett to use or disclose your Information except as necessary to perform services on Follett’s behalf or comply with legal requirements.
  • With Your Consent: Follett may share your Information with other third parties with your consent.
  • As Required by Law: Follett may disclose any Information we deem necessary, in Follett’s sole discretion, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
  • To Prevent Harm or Loss: Follett may disclose Information when we believe, in our sole discretion, disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with suspected or actual illegal activity.
  • In Connection With a Sale of Follett’s Business: Follett also reserve the right to transfer Information in the event Follett transfers or sells all or a portion of Follett’s business or assets. Should such a sale or transfer occur, Follett will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use the Information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Following such a sale or transfer, you may contact the entity to which we transferred the Information with any inquiries concerning the processing of that information.

Follett will not provide personally identifiable User Information to third parties for their use in marketing their products or services to you, but Follett does not control and are not responsible for Facebook’s own use of content and information it collects in relation to this Service.

Third-Party Applications/Websites

This Application may permit you to link to other applications and websites. Such third party applications/websites are not under the control of Follett and such links do not constitute an endorsement by Follett of those other applications/websites or the services offered through them. The privacy and security practices of such third party applications/websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy and Follett is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or content of such applications/websites.

Children Under the Age of 13

This Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. Follett does not knowingly or specifically collect information about children under the age of 13.

Updates to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in Follett’s information processing practices or for any other purpose. Follett will post a notice in the Info section of the Application’s profile to notify you of any significant changes to the Privacy Policy and indicate there and at the bottom of the Privacy Policy when it was most recently updated.
