Reading Programs on Titlewave

Follett Library Resources is your complete source for reading program titles, including Accelerated Reader books and software, Reading Counts books™ and sets, and Lexile books.

How can I see what reading program titles you have?

Titlewave will only display reading program information if you have reading program options activated for your account. On the Titlewave home page, in the lower-right area of the page, check off the boxes for the appropriate reading program(s) and then click the Save button. When you perform future searches, the appropriate reading program information for titles will be displayed.

How do I search for Accelerated Reader books and quizzes only?

If you are on the Titlewave home page, click on the Accelerated Reader link in the Collection Development area or the use the search bar and select Accelerated Reader in the pull-down menu.

If you are working on a list or looking at search results, use the Accelerated Reader link under Collection Development on the left side of the page to do your search.

How do I search for Reading Counts books only?

If you are on the Titlewave home page, click on the Reading Counts link in the Collection Development area or the use the search bar and select Reading Counts in the pull-down menu.

What are Accelerated Reader interest levels?

Accelerated Reader interest levels are designed to help you target the most appropriate grade ranges for a book. They are based on the subject/content of the book. Accelerated Reader uses three interest level designations. They are:

LG: Kindergarten-Grade 3
MG: Grade 4-8
UG: Grades 9-12

What are Lexile codes?

Lexile codes are sometimes used in conjunction with the Lexile measure of a text to indicate special characteristics of the text. The codes are:

AD: Adult-Directed
BR: Beginning Reader
GN: Graphic Novel
HL: High-Low
IG: Illustrated Guide
NC: Non-Conforming Text
NP: Non-Prose

What is QuizCheck?

Our QuizCheck service will identify the Accelerated Reader quizzes and books you already own, in addition to Accelerated Reader books without matching quizzes or Accelerated Reader quizzes without matching books. You can save this information directly to a list or you can perform a search within the information. This information is based on the Accelerated Reader titles that are available from Follett Library Resources.

How do I get QuizCheck?

Once you have uploaded your Accelerated Reader quizzes and MARC records and have Accelerated Reader and TitleCheck enabled you will see red Accelerated Reader Quiz indicators for quizzes you have in your collection.
